So yesterday was as the movers say "it's the first day of school". Alex was sorta excited he got up happily even tho it was 7:40am (mommy had a rougher time...lol), he was super excited to get to brush his teeth on his own (a new thing for the mornings because the dentist feels it is more important to brush his teeth before sleep with his imperfections), he didn't want anything to eat which is OK because they feed them breakfast in school, so i got him a cup of milk and he happily drank that put on a little TV and by then Grandma was here and off we went! Did a little bit of picture taking since daddy wasn't here to see it :O( I signed him in at school and off to his class room we went...he happily put the extra clothes in his cubby, and gave his family picture to Miss Katie. we walked him over to the rest of the class where he melted down into tears....I passed him off to miss pearl and off we went!! EEEEKKKK that was hard...but I held it together like a big girl and didn't cry...When I went back to get him he was happy to see me but asked if it was already time to go....lol...Once in the car I tried to pull out of him how his first day was....I didn't get much all he wanted to do was go home...lol
As the evening progressed I over heard him singing a cute little song..."jump up and down, turn around and touch the ground..." I told him I loved it did you learn it as school??? he shyly said yes...lol and he told me they sang the cookie jar song too...which he LOVES!!!
On the second day of school he brought cookies in with ABC sprinkles and he said everyone loved them!! he was so excited to have his new friends celebrate his birthday with him. he promised me he wasn't going to cry the second day and he didn't!!! it was truly awesome!! I got to give big hugs and kisses and walk away with pride!!! :O)

preparing for fathers day
This morning Edwin took the van for service, so Alex and I used this time for a impromp to art session to make a fathrrd day card for daddy. When we started he asked me can we make a card for Peppe too? I said sure and thats how we ended up making all the fathers day cards :o) Alex made 3 cards with circles and the rest of the cards he made to look like catipallars.
As we do everyfriday night we went to football @ the coconut creek community center. I'm not too sure when alex is going to become a little more aggresive an pull off other kids flags...Alex n Brody were paired together for the game at the end. Brody is more Alexs speed...alex was able to pull his flags :o) after their turn they sat and chatted on the floor it was very cute! Brody has always liked alex :o)

Stromboli
Today my little helper and I cleaned up the house and played on the pool. After nap Alex helped me make our dinner. He LOVES to roll the dough and put the cheese and pepperonie on the dough. The whole time it cooks and cools he complaines about how 'starving' he is. he just loves stromboli :o)
